國際樂壇天后惠妮休斯頓（Whitney Houston）在2012年2月過世，死於加州比佛利的希爾頓飯店，由於她生前曾服用抗憂鬱藥物，疑似是藥物服用過量導致失去身亡。而她的女兒芭比克莉斯汀布朗（Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown）事隔3年，現在也傳出在浴缸昏倒導致無呼吸心跳。

現年21歲的芭比克莉斯汀布朗在美國時間1月31日早上10點25分，被發現倒在美國喬治亞州的自家浴室，全身沉在裝滿水的浴缸內，被發現時已無呼吸心跳。老公尼克高登（Nick Gordon）和友人馬上替她施行心肺復甦術，所幸送醫後恢復呼吸，雖然仍在加護病房，但病情已經漸漸穩定。發言人指出，警方目前懷疑此意外是藥物過量導致，但現場沒有找到任何藥品或酒精使用證據，仍會繼續調查。

由於惠妮休斯頓再過10天就逝世滿三周年，最近她的自傳電影上映，內容多嗑藥、性愛鏡頭，大尺度劇情引起網路上一片譁然，也讓休斯頓一家人感到非常不滿。而芭比克莉斯汀布朗在此時巧合發生此事，不免引起多方揣測原因。
